Beginning in abstraction, we built paintings around light, hierarchy, and the deliberate placement of a focal point — a powerful reminder that strong realism starts long before the details.

At Seattle Prize, our mission is to support painters committed to the disciplined pursuit of representational work at the highest level. Workshops like this challenge us to slow down, think critically, and design with purpose.
